My son married his grammar school sweetheart. She had all ready been married & had 2 little boys when
they met again. Her x husband was in prison for the second time, this time for murder he took his good friend out on a back
road in Alabama beat him almost to death , took him out of the car, ran over him several times, then of all things cut off
his private parts & stuck them down his throat. Not normal huh?? The first time in prison was for trying to kill
a 76 year old man for $100.00.
Well my son & this girl had a little boy. From day 1 my son was there for all of them. She didn't
want to work so he worked all the time for them.She got back on drugs & started running around on him. When the child
was 2 my son caught her with another man naked & doped up on a back road. He took her home & made her take a
bath. The baby sitter was there & saw all this . She got out of the tub & the baby which was 2 at the time got up
& was going to her & she kicked him across the room he had bruises on his back & stomach. My son asked her why
she did it & she said because he looked so much like my son. My son had her arrested that night. She fought the cops.
My son divorced her & DHR & a judge gave him physical custody. She was suppose to take drug
test & she had to be clean because of the other 2 children. She failed all of them. Since my son had the child
he too had to take drug test he passed every one of his. He is clean.
Well come to find out she had been also seeing & planning to remarry her x that was in prison which
she did. She told us he hated this child & things that he said he was & would & could do to the child because
the little s.o.b. wasn't his so it wouldn't bother him any.
She also told my son that she only married him until her x got out of prison so he would take care
of her 2 kids.
This went on for about a year he would let her see the child but not around her husband. She started telling
my son that her husband had changed etc. to please let the child go home with her.
My son feeling sorry for her agreed, to his knowledge she was still taking & passing the drug test.
Every time when my son would go & pick the child up she started making trouble. Calling the cops etc.
At the end my son & his girl friend at the time broke up, a friendly break up, we talk all the
time matter of fact she went to court to testify for him in this case.
He decided to move home & start over & let me help him with the child .
Him & my husband went to pick the baby up & when the cops show up like every time before
he shows them his court papers where he has custody of the child. Well she had went & signed restraining papers on him(that
he had never gotten) never been served with & also a domestic violence charge for when he had left her house almost
a year before ( she had just signed those that week). My husband looks up at the trailer & she is holding the child up
to the window so he can watch them arrest his daddy. That child loved his daddy they were one. When you seen one you saw the
other. They would come & visit us for the weekend, I wasn't left home to babysit while he went out to party. He was here
with his child.
That was now 6 months ago. The other day was the first day he had seen his child in 5 months (his lawyer
told him not to call the child) so he did what his lawyer told him to do. we were not allowed to touch , speak, hug the child
or nothing . She had a big floppy hat on his head so he could see on the sides. When he looked at me she pulled the hat over
his eyes. My son set in court & cried.
Her nor her lawyer brought ANY proof of anything into court. No drug test that was ordered & she told
that she had failed her last 3 drug test ,but did not take any test ? the judge excepted that. She DID NOT bring in
any doctor reports, mental health reports, school records (shes suppose to be in nursing school) nothing the judge said that
was ok.?? Her lawyer & her FORGOT to mention that when we was worried about the child when she did this we had DHR to
go out & check on the child DHR reported the child was in good condition, healthy, nothing was wrong with him, but
they forgot to mention this to the lawyer which would have distroyed her whole defence.
My son took everything her lawyer asked for & yes ALL the drug test he has pasted in the last TWO years.
We took dvd's of pictures of the child that had been taken only a few weeks before she got him, a dvd of our home--- since
she had told her lawyer that I lived in a dump, a two bedroom mobile home that could be moved at any time. We had proof that
I live in a 4 bedroom 2 full bath huge mobile home with no axles or tire & no tongue it is going no where.
She told the judge that the child was starving to death when she got him, that he had a big belly no meat
on his bones that it was horrible. That the child would grab knives out of the drawer & threating to kill his self ( 4
years old) that he would play Jason & Feddie Cruger things etc. She had taken him to counceling.( NO PROOF)
Keep in mind there were NO pictures of the child in this condition there were NO hospital records OR doctor records
to show this condition of the child. There were NO mental health records where she had gotten help for this child.NO DOCTORS,
NOTHING. BUT THE JUDGE EXCEPTED ALL OF THIS, MY SONS LAWYER NEVER OBJECTED TO ANY OF IT.
My sons witnesses came & went NONE of these questions were asked to them, nothing about how they got
along NOTHING how my son treated the child NOTHING. Nothing about the child at all.
Her lawyer is the lawyer for DHR in that county HE WOULD NOT OPEN HER DHR RECORDS ? Wonder why maybe it
was because her & her husband are all ready being investigated by DHR in the county they are presently living in ? Oh
yes we found that out by the DHR in that county but he refused to let that be in the case. What is child protection for?
She also has papers signed on her husband now for domestic violence because he hit her & knocked their
oldest son into a table. The judge knew that as well but he excepted that too. Her husband even told on the stand
to the judge that she was not going through with those charges cause he has changed ( changed in 4 months??) He has a
drug record also. She has drug arrest dateing back to the 80's. Her divorce papers from her first husband was also neglected
when in them she stated he was NOT FIT to be around their two children. Well this is not his child what will he do to him?
My son had a deputy sheriff there to testify on his behalf. My son has NO criminal history ,NO arrest record,
NO warrents of any kind. A clean record. She told the judge that she smelled cocain on my son,
You can't smell cocain it's a drug you snort up your nose.
I am fire chief of our town, I am also the head EMR of our town. We don't drink & are drug free. We
do smoke cigarettes but we do not smoke in the house or around the kids. I make random drug test to my department & trust
me I have gotten rid of people & if my son's test had come back postive he would have been out of my home.
The judge wanted to talk to the child & we were all out side the court house when the mother went
around the side to get the child , about 5 min. later she came back & she was telling him, "You tell the nice man that
is asking you questions what mommy told you to tell him." EXCUSE ME ????
So the judge was ready, he looked at the both of them & told them they were wonderfull parents,
they had come a long way & were on the high road complimented them in every way.
He then looked at my son & told him he was nothing?? He was on the low road of life?? That he had heard
the testamony of tourcher & torment of the child & he believed it ?? HOLD IT?????????????? HE HEARD HER SIDE?????????????????
HE HEARD HEAR SAY.
He was not allowed to see the child for at least 4 to 5 months IF THEN, he has to start paying child support.
And IF he is granted to see him it will be STRICT supervision.
He gave her custody .
When my son had the child ,the child was not allowed to watch scarey movies anywhere at anytime,
that was my sons rules, he even monitored the types of cartoons, which considering what they have is a very good thing. That child
was into Batman & Spiderman not Jason or Feddie. My son bought him a $50.00 batman out fit for halloween. Christmas was
wonderful. He got a push peddle fire truck (he wanted to be like me) my son had me to order him a real badge & I
did. a special kind. He had a huge birthday party.
He wore only name brand clothes his play clothes are even nice looking.
Our whole family is still in shock & all the friends of the family are too. It was always yes
mame, no mame, please, thank you.
It was like the child never knew us the other day.
When I made a statement to my sons lawyer that we were going to sue for grandparents rights he said Alabama
had none. When I got home it took me 5 min. to find them.. Witinesses that were need in my sons case was never called , the
child care giver, nothing was ever asked about him nothing. Also the child had been with me the weekend prior of her getting
him the next day on a Monday. So I know how he looked & how he was eating.
Now you tell me was my son railroaded?
